"Pick Three, Get The Whole Scene" is a 4-way split 7" bringing together four different Zurich-based bands from the wide fields of d.i.y. post-hc. call it screamo but then you'll miss out the indierock parts, call it indierock and you'll miss out on the energy and desperation that's so typical for the screamo school. none of that really matters, though. fact is, that Yakari, Mr.Willis Of Ohio, The Rabbit Theory and Dying In Motion share a vision. a vision, that foresees music not as a commodity, but as a connecting element to establishing community. deeply rooted in d.i.y. culture, most of these bands have been playing together for a couple of years and have done tours throughout Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Sweden, Czech Republic and Poland and they will continue to do so.
"Pick Three, Gut The Whole Scene Plus One"'s goal can therefore be seen as a vinylframe around a team-shot of Zurich's d.i.y. (guitar-)musicscene.
"Pick Three, Get The Whole Scene Plus One" will be released on 303 handnumbered white 7inches and 50 CDRs.
