Okay, "When Two Becomes One" was a cheesy line sung by a cheesy girlie collection in the cheesy mid-to-late 1990ies. It meant lyrics written based on surveys, tested and tried for optimised mass consumption. However, "When Two Becomes One" can also be a truth. For an instance, "When Two Becomes One" is what you feel and hear, when putting on Sensational's latest record, a collaboration with Zurich's own Göldin & bit-tuner. A creative friendship that started out as a guest feature but soon outgrew that narrow frame and ended up being an eight track strong album. An album characterized by dark, psychedelic and apocalyptic tracks that are looming large on the horizon of a burnt down, faceless city. it's rough, it's rugged, it's dirty and it's ruling supreme. "It's Sensational" is an album for a city that has seen and heard just about everything. It's an album for a city that is sick of cheesy lines, sung by cheesy girlie collections. An album for a city that finally deserves some truth. A city called humanity.
