"the rabbit theory" (TRT) is a Zurich-based trio. they play some scramo-ish music with drums, guitar, bass and voice. since their influences is not so much meat loaf but rather bands like fugazi, sonic youth, hüsker dü or shellac to name but a few, their sounding somewhat like a mixture of those bands. but different. for best results, you just listen to those damn mp3s and then you'll know.
lyrically, it's topics like the preeminent lack of sustainability, insufficiency, gentrification and neoliberalism, amongst others, that are being sung about. on the other hand, there's a good part of instrumental songs, too.

before they found together in late 2004, the members of "the rabbit theory" used to play together in other bands for many a year, i.e. in "a part of it" (see artists) or "meal". since bassplayer joerg moved to san diego, CA november 2006, we were lucky to find an interim-bassman in the kind person of christian until he returns. christian played in now defunct-HC outfit "naulakha" before. so, right now, TRT consists of Pascal Zuber (dr), Nino (g,v), Christian (b) and Markus (g,v).
