"88:KOMAFLASH" is a conglomerate of four openminded and progressive rap kids that are anything but what is today being regarded as hiphop. their rather Lo-Fi than blingbling, rather introspective than overtly ostentatious. if you'd have to name-drop, then it'd probably be antipop consortium, the anticon/mush family you'd compare 88:komaflash to: experimental, doom-ish, moody and dirty off-hiphop. that might be a reason, that sole (anticon records) willingly recorded a feature for their debutalbum
lyrically, 88:KF deal alot with the self in the society so there's good parts about angst as well as the constant vanishing of passion, that seems to strangulate our times.
88:KOMAFLASH consists of Omega Takeshi, Aqua Luminus III., Mars and Al Rock.
- "Untergang /// Wiederaufbau" is released in 2009 and comes as exceptionally nice 300 double LPs (gatefold) and 500 CDs by quiet records.
- "Verteidigung der Zukunft " was recorded 2005/2006 and released on 300 double LPs and 500 CDs by quiet records. after the first batch of CDs being sold out, we repressed 300 CDs.
